You got it! \m/
Doenr help that DIO is the only singer I ever followed from Elf onwards......lol
Huge DIO fan. Well played.
I think Mr. Lightning got it....tone is dead on...
I can't wait to get home to my guitars. I am in Seattle for the death of my mother-in-law. Been out here 10 days now...will be home on Monday...
Nice deep Dio track ..never expected that one.
Thanks Jimi. Black Sabbath's Live Evil was my introduction to RJD...been a huge fan of him and his work ever since. Even share a birthday with him \m/
Sorry to hear about your loss.
Yeah, Strange Highways was not one of my favorite DIO albums but there are a couple great tracks to be found on there. Thanks for the compliment.
That album seems to plod along ....kinda clunky to me...I like his up-tempo stuff better...altho "Lock up The Wolves" was on the slow side, I friggin love that record
Sorry to hear that
First, my condolances to you and your family during this time of greif and sorrow.
I had the priveledge of seeing DIO on the Lock up the Wolves tour. The most consummate mudician I Ever saw and every fan left Knowing that each song he sang was personally for them. I have the record store promo poster tucked away for that awesome record. Yngwie and Killer Dwarfs opened.
Thanks for kind words...I actually liked my mother-in-law, lol...great woman...it's been tough , but everyone is pulling thru...
That was a great lineup....my one concert regret is not seeing Ronnie...he just never appeared in my neck of the woods when I was here...bad timing...his music helped me through some tough times.
Not to hijack this thread but .....the last time I saw RJD was when Heaven and Hell came through. My better half had driven 2 hours unknown to me to get a ticket, called my boss and had me sent home under the pretense of an emergency. She handed me the ticket And said Go.
The cincert was 3 hours from were I lived so she also convinced my boss to give me the next day off....
Yup, shes a keeper and fully understands my appreaciation for DIO.
Sorry folls, had to share.
Taking you back to 1983 in my sloppy fashion....with my 400th riff...
Sounds a little like Def Leppards "Coming Under Fire"...the year is right 1983
1991 and don't cry for this guy as it was his only top 40 hit (solo)
mama I'm coming home
The sniper strikes again
Yes...I lay motionless in cover waiting for some unwitting person to play the 1 in 372 songs I recognize.
Not sure but it sounds Great White ish
Nope, not GW, but same genre...that little intro on this one is misleading..
