At least this gives him a chance to stay with you for a few more years. Dogs wouldn't care if you took all their legs off, as long as they get to be with you. That's all that matters to them.

Aw poor guy. It sucks when our furry friends are hurting. Hope he recovers and adapts, and has a long healthy life from here on out.

f'n dig is amazing
meeting me at the door, tail wagging, happy face going on.
Sit down on the couch,he jumps right up and waits for the cone of frustration (covered in gravy, the kids give him some ravioli)to come off.

We've been dealing with problems with Ruckus the last few weeks.
Diagnosed with bone cancer in his leg.
All the blood tests and poking and x-raying and meds....doc came back and said he'd have to lose it but it ain't showing up no place else.
So....
Hated to do it but I owe it to him to take care of him.
He doesn't seem in pain and he's resting pretty easy right now but he's minus one leg
Poor little guy. Keep him happy. I am pulling for him!!!!
