Had to sit through 3 opening acts . he played for about 45 minutes... a set .... first time for me so I couldnt pass on it. no Steve Vai I'll admit. whoplayed for 4 + hours and multiple wardrobe changes when I saw him in a small theater back in the 90's... Malmsteen
" phoned it in" by comparison... Took snippets cause I didnt want to watch the concert through my phone...wanst a bad seat in the place.

Is it a fair comparison on the length artists played 3 decades ago to now?
BTW, how was the show? Yngwie is amazing and am curious as to what he paled.

When I have seen him, no opening acts and played for 2+ hours.

not a big fan of unknown opening acts, I don't want to captively discover new music.

I saw him a couple of times back in the early days, once with Alcatrazz (amazing) and once with Rising Force (not so great) Problem with not having vocals or anything else to break up the shredding is you get ear fatigue and all the songs start sounding the same.
