Got an Echorec!!! I love it

    Two,

got to see Robby Krieger!!! (got about 5 feet away from him at points) playing some old school Doors.
Amazingly, I also talked to Alan Parsons who was present at the concert, overall the best night of my life, and my first concert!
Even the bassist came over to me afterwards and said it was nice to see young people enjoying old guy music. Lol.

Twas an amazing night, I don’t think I’ll ever forget it.

Were you at the show in SB that Chicago also played at? The charity event?

    Very cool, regardless!

Very cool! My fav Alan Parsons song. Sort of Pink Floydish, but great imho.

Robbie Krieger was one of my first favorite guitarists after i started learning seriously the first time for a minute in my twenties. @alainvey and I became friends over our mutual disagreement over his level of technical skill...

Love him. Back when Satriani and Vai and SRV were taking over guitar (better mention Jeff Beck's Guitar Shop here too!) Krieger put out a solo instrumental album that i couldnt get enough of, and then you know lost the cd and so now i have to go find it again thanks to your night out!

No Habla is the name of the album... and here's a recent video of him w/ Densmore...

    That's awesome!
And to add, my son who's 20, is totally into old school rock music. Jimi, Clapton, Freddie King... He plays waaaay better blues licks than I ever can (at 56). He's already seen Bob Dylan and Santana. Next month, he's gonna see Buddy Guy! And he plays an early Squier II MIK Strat!
