Picking up on Saturn: Astrophotographer Cory Schmitz based in South Africa captured this during the recent March 31 occultation of Saturn by the Moon.

Astronomers have created the most detailed picture yet of our evolving universe.

Dubbed the Hubble Legacy Field, the mosaic photo offers not only a detailed look at a tiny patch of sky in the Fornax constellation but also a look back in time.

    ujiu.jpg

Illingworth and his colleagues created the image by combining almost 7,500 separate exposures of roughly 265,000 galaxies taken by Hubble over a 16-year period.

The new image won’t be surpassed until newer space telescopes begin operating, according to NASA. Hubble’s long-anticipated successor, the much larger James Webb Space Telescope, is scheduled to be launched in 2021.

This machine is an oscillating cylinder steam engine also known as a “wobbler”.
The first patented oscillating engine was built by Joseph Maudslay in 1827 and they were
    typically used for marine applications.

This one, I think is the worlds first running oscillating steam engine made entirely out
of Cubic zirconia and gold and silver.

CO2 levels in atmosphere higher than any point since evolution of humans

"Carbon dioxide levels have reached the highest levels in human history. According to data from the Mauna Loa Observatory in Hawaii, the concentration of CO2 in the atmosphere is over 415 parts per million (ppm), far higher than any point in the last 800,000 years.

That's the highest level since homo sapiens came onto the planet, meteorologist Eric Holthaus tweeted, and represents an increase of 15 ppm over just the past three years. "We don't know a planet like this," Holthaus said.

    https://abc7chicago.com/science/co2-levels-rise-to-highest-point-since-human-existence-/5300197/

CO2 emissions are largely caused by humans burning fossil fuels like coal, oil and natural gas.

They keep heat trapped on Earth that would normally disperse into space, making the planet warmer.

According to a recent report by the United Nations, climate change and human activity could result in the disappearance of over a million plant and animal species."

I'm sure there's nothing to worry about.

The Gateway will be a small spaceship in orbit around the Moon that will provide access to more of the lunar surface than ever before with living quarters for astronauts, a lab for science and research, ports for visiting spacecraft, and more.

Unfortunately, not warp drive or photon torpedos. Well, none indicated. :sneaky:
