That, and the buyers who don't get back to you after asking if it's still available.

Not too long ago, I had a mountain bike for sale on OfferUp. Someone was interested in it, and then I didn't hear back from him for a while. I messaged them back, and apparently they didn't get my last message, and he said he ended up buying a different bike but would have preferred mine.. Really?? I did end up selling it to someone else though.

Agreed. That button has to go. Also, if someone's too lazy to type in an inquiry, they're probably too lazy to drive somewhere to buy something.

Yeah, sure, come on over and I'll cook dinner for you, too. Then I'll let you borrow my Jag so you can better acquaint yourself with it before buying one.

I am kind of a grumpy ass but I really can't find much to dislike about FB Marketplace even while acknowledging the couple of oddities.

100 miles? I get guys wanting a lower price because they came all 4 miles from Rotherham.

I'm not sure what constitutes a "zombie" thread. Hopefully I'm not reviving one.

I am not at all a user of Facebook. I posted my first guitar on Facebook Marketplace last Friday; last night, after four days, it showed up with a generic "There are issues with your product" message.

There is no indication of what those "problems" are, nor does there appear to be any way to find out. Has anyone dealt with this issue? Any idea how to avoid getting this error when I list a guitar?

Thanks. I read that selling animals and animal products (ivory, etc.) is verboten on FBM. My guitar is a "Whale Blue" PRS. I even removed any reference to the color, thinking the word 'whale" might be tripping a filter. It hasn't helped.

The one that really burns me is when you settle on a price and let them know you are on your way... then they message you just before you get there that somebody has offered more money for the item.
Or when they come to the conclusion they listed the item way too low judging from the amount of responses they get so they repost the item for a higher amount.
    It still beats craigslist though.
