Seymour Duncan is fake..!?

I need help identifying these hambuckers...Seymour Duncan 59 chrome...I need a set that is selling for...180€ for an Epiphone Les Paul...but I'm having doubts that they are fake...
Any help would be very welcome

The color on the back...should be nickel...and these look more gold....
And the identification from the research I did...was not conclusive...

This is Seymour Duncan Custom TB-5, in my 2013 ESP LTD Elite st-1. It sounds great, and is an extremely low noise pickup, even at the highest gain. I like it very much. I hope it's the real deal.

Torvald is wrong. They are legit.
These are 2007 made 59s. They are 16 years old.
The sticker changed several times and looked different in 2007.

Honestly the easiest and most accurate way to get an answer would be to send an e-mail with these pics over to Duncan themselves, they'll tell you whether or not they're fakes. [email protected]

I actually did what you suggested, and I got the response from Seymour Duncan Customer Service and Technical Support. They confirmed that the pickups are genuine, although I kind of knew it already.

I can't imagine somebody going to all the trouble to engrave the back with S-D logo, etc for counterfeit pickups. There's simply too much cost and effort required to make a pickup and then sell it at a price that beats the genuine article.

That's not the point. The answer is much, much easier: The China fakes are really good today and there just two tiny points to spot them. But they all fakes are very recent versions of SD pickups. I would not judge them without holding them in my hand.
The OP shows the older version which are quite safe.

The long reach legs tend to point towards genuine. You don't often see cheap knock offs with long legs.
On the subject, I'd check that they will fit the Epiphone rout - the rout might not be deep enough at the ends.
