1990 G&L ASAT signature series. Bought new.
Around 1978... I play her regularly.
Danelectro .. Danoblaster with built in effects .
Zencaster. 20+ years, sometimes as my only electric guitar. My one true sword.
The sunburst EJ Thinline. Bought new in March of 2018. I’ve owned and sold about 4-5 guitars since then. I don’t have any sentimental attachment to any of them do no problems moving them out and getting new ones. The EJ may go soon as I haven’t played it in 7 weeks since buying my PRS. The other EJ was bought April of 2017 and sold in August of 2018.
wow, dig the divots in the fretboard cowboy chord position
What he is singing on the picture ?
I had a '76 Ibanez LP lawsuit copy for 13 years until I traded it towards a new '89 Gibson. The current guitar I own the longest is a '08 CV50 Tele in vintage blonde that I bought new in '10. My '11 R0 is second oldest.
dang, looking at that Gibson picture just made me realize that I won't be taking any more pictures against the leaves in my back yard after we sell the house in a month or two. There are a pair of honey locust trees. I hate them because of the trillions and gazillions of miserable little leaves they drop but every few years the conditions are just right and they leave a golden carpet on our deck. 2012 was such a year.
I might take some guitars in snow pictures if we get any before the house sells. The weather of the last couple days has melted all of the snow in my back yard. I never really thought about it but I was lucky to have a nice yard to take pictures in. Man, I'm going to miss that.
1987 Martin D-28 Shenandoah. Marvelous guitar. My grandad bought it for me 21 years ago for like $700. I still play it a ton.
If you zoom in on the first picture you can see some of the wear.
Beautiful star of Bethlehem
I bought two 1988 AVs in 1988. Immediately changed the necks and have had one of them ever since. If you look closely on the left side you can see the other 1988 AV Strat on a stand.
I build, mod, sell guitars pretty regularly, but the 2017 Ibanez RG657 that my wife bought me for our 20th anniversary is now my oldest and it’s a keeper!
I’ve scalloped the fretboard but other than that it looks just like it did here when new:
I was away from it all for a while, so I started afresh in 2008, which makes this 2008 Squier Stratocaster my longest owned. Of course it has changed a bit since the days of yore..................
Bought it new in 74’...Could have been 73’.
I honestly don't remember which one is older.
I believe the Sigma 12 string, but it was acquired around the same time as the Kramer.
I got the Kramer from the old Santa Ana Guitar Center on Main. I got the Sigma... most likely... from LaHabra Music on Central
My US Standard.
Bought new in 1989.
Still have it.
My first guitar, must have been early 2015 when I got it:
I still play it regularly.
Still looks new!
