Technically the longest although it was my second electric. I sold my first (and it was a nice one) like an idiot when I needed cash. It's a partscaster, getting a new bridge PU (a Fralin) but won't look a lot different. Built it in 1984.

My first. From 1978. Oh that I had kept it.

Normally on these threads I post my Legend LST-X, but I've just realised that I've had this longer. I still don't know what it is though!

I got my 1972 Hoyer Flying Arrow in 1980 from a guy who bought a ´79 black Gibson V. To be honest the Hoyer sounded better and I got it for a fair price.
Wish I had the 2200DM back in the day for the Gibson V block inlay.
Having said that my white 2005 sounds better than that block inlay and any V I played since.
Still want a block inly V.
    Call me crazy.

    Hoyer on the right.

N9 Strat Plus I got as a High School graduation gift in 1991. My mom split the cost with me $550 with case.

The first thing I did was put bright blue Dimarzio humbuckers in the B and N. That lasted until after college when I realized SSS was more what I needed. My wizard recommended Duncan Classic Stacks. He also recommended decking the bridge based on my complaints about floating the bridge. He also asked me if I wanted to go to a single Tone control, which I love and would do on all of my strats if I wasn't so lazy. It's been exactly like this since 1994.

This is the one that stole my heart...

Built it in '91 from Warmoth body and Fender neck. Originally translucent blue; then white; now residue of both of those under satin lacquer.

I bought about 5 different guitars in 2017 when I started learning the guitar. This is one that I actually traded a really nice S&W 1911 gun for on CL and met the guy at the Gun shop to do the deal. Since then I have got rid of every other guitar as I didn't like them for 1 reason or another. I have kept this and realized I really am just a strat guy at the end of the day.

    It's a basic 2011 American Standard.

I played that neck to the point it needed a refret (I think frets on Classic Vibes are the weak point)

Gibson SG ‘61 Reissue. Bought when I was about 15. It was my first real guitar. Nickname is BOOMERANG
Sold it when I was 18 because of a fight with my father and my aunt bought it back from the store for me. Then sold it to my brother years ago but then bought it back. Recently gave it that nickname :)
It’s Birthday is this week. January 17th, 1990

My first acoustic was/is a Sears special...A '63/'64 era (can you say "The Beatles") Silvertone....it was strung up correctly for my leftyness, but now it justs sits in a humidified room and looks pretty....

    CIMG0984.JPG

My first electronic guitar was a mid 60's Fender (can't remember the model name, though it was a student guitar) and then a couple of Strats....they all vanished while in storage in my parents attic....

I got this one around 1987...it was a cheapo oddball.
Around 2000, I had to sell 90% of my gear to keep eating and it never occurred to me that this guitar might be worth something (maybe it was...I don't know), so I kept it.
Glad I did...it has the slide tone of the gods.
Otherwise...irrespective of what some might have you believe, it's a total POS.
