    Yes!
Whichever one makes your Levi's rise when you hear it.
Mine is a heavily modded Crybaby GCB95. I got it originally because it was cheap and I was going through a pedal modding phase. Once I did about 6 or 7 mods to it I shelved it. Now, I use it quite a bit and it is pretty unique sounding but is still all wah.

It's funny you ask this question. I've been playing for 13 years or so, and I only recently caved and bought one about a month ago. Its a crybaby classic. I wanted to use it to play some specific Dave Murray and Tony Iommi stuff. I still haven't even tested it to see if it works!

    Yes.

My Cry Baby Mini is almost always on. Usually kept stationary, occasionally not.

Yes, I have a Buddha Wha which I really like but the Cry Baby is the starting point.

    Absolutely.

classics are the cry baby and Vox 847 - I’d start there

higher end take a look at Xotic Wah - it’s killer

If you don't have one on stage with you, you're not a real guitar player.

But more seriously, you need it for some specific songs. But it can be useful just in a stationary position, the "cocked wah". Get a Cry Baby used and play with it a bit. They're usually $50 used and last forever. I see some bad pots here and there, but I think that's mostly lack of use as the issue.

If you play lead, you’ve gotta have a nice Wah. Just the way it is.

My vote is for the Crybaby. I have an old Jimi Hendrix Crybaby. I should go dig it out

Off the top of my head.:

    Cream. Maybe some Derek&D too.
    Dire Straits cocked wah.
Mick Taylor / Stones a la live 1973 Euro
    Frampton

Edit: Oh, and these guys all have Wah models as I recall based on their use of one: Zakk Wylde, Dimebag Darell, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai.

I had a crybaby mini and my feet are way too big. It was like I had to use my big toe. Great concept though

    Sure
    Sure.............. Wah not?

    Admittedly, I've not tried a ton of Wah pedals. I had the standard Dunlop Crybaby/Jimmi Wah, a DOD FX-17, a 90's Vox 847 & Dunlop 535Q.

I still have the DOD FX-17 because it's quite unique (though not maybe an everyday Wah) & the other I kept (and use all the time) is the 535Q.

The Crybaby seemed "noisy". I thought the Vox was great until I got the 535q.

When A/B'd the Vox just didn't make the cut anymore.

In the 90's I tried something called "The Real McCoy" & it was. Still one of the best I've heard but it was expensive then and I think more or less a unicorn now.
