    This is 'My Grandfather's Axe of Theseus', the first partscaster.
    Mostly Fender Custom Shop parts with a few original 1965 parts that remain.

    Another with all AV or AO Fender parts except the body which is a lightweight one-piece Warmoth.

    Early 60's replica built using MJT body and All Parts neck. Fender bridge and machines and CS Ancho Poblano pickups

    Yes. That's a Warmoth neck, they did the scallops and it's some great looking flame maple. The other necks are also scalloped, one by Warmoth (the ebony) and one by me (the rosewood). In an ongoing effort to destroy resale value, I scallop pretty much all of my necks!

    Holy crap @Han Valen ! I need to know more. Did you carve that body? That neck looks wide. Custom? Dimensions pls.

    I ask because I have a block of flame maple I'm afraid to touch.

    A collection of parts. The necks on both came from the Hot Rod 50's model, which looks old-school but has modern features such as compound-radius neck and locking tuners. The body came from the Stratosphere, so likely another black Fender.
