I am no craftsman. This is an Indiana strat with a poorly applied green sparkle paint job from a rattlecan. I did drop in Fender USA electronics with an S-1 switch. Squier bridge, original tuners.
I have mad respect for those of you who build your guitars.

So that's a Velocity! Very nice. Ty
is that a wood grain colored pickguard or am i seeing reflections? where did u get it? i like
The pickguard is made from a piece of streaky ebony.
I love strats but the ONE thing i cant stand is the headstocks. They are so dang ugly to me. i have to cut them off every guitar i have
Here's mine i just finished it and it needs setup. Not sure about where the body and neck came from but it's a 2 pcs Alder and maple/rosewood neck. Some say it's from a MIJ Bacchus strat. Repainted it to red over the existing sunburst. Parts are from what i have laying around.
I've cut a few myself.

My very good friend built this. He called it 'Tropicaster' and I inherited it when he sadly passed away in February 2020.
Visually, it's an acquired taste (as was he ) but it has the Clapton boost and plays beautifully. It's LOUD too!
It's a complete departure from the style of strat that I usually play, but I look forward to the day when I can play it out somewhere.
Only Strats? Here’s my entry:
Based off a Harley Benton kit, with upgraded electronics including CS ‘69 pickups, and an Allparts bridge.
I picked up the body, 90's Squier Pro Tone, ash, with nothing but the trem. Had set of Wide Range clones built by The Creamery. The neck in this photo is from my Squier Silver Series but I since found a Pro Tone maple board neck and had that fitted and the Silver Series reassembled. I got it back in March just before things went south and it became my go to guitar, barely touched any of the others.
Here are a couple of my “partscasters”.
