Funny, I watched an amp tech take one of these apart on YouTube. You might enjoy watching it. Here's the link: .

Ok, I'll play, HT 20 and Club 40. Same cab under both. I like it with the 20 but can't really push it hard enough in my condo with the 40. So for now it's just an amp stand

what it actually is: 6G2 Brown Princeton I built in an old funky Hickok case I found. I wanted the case to be a little different. Warmoth Strat I built up about 20 years ago

My main stage rig - DSL50 into a Mojave 2x12 - the other amp that I'm currently digging is a newly acquired Fender Bassbreaker 15, which really has a ton of tasty tones in a grab-and-go combo! unspecified.jpg

My American Vintage ´52 Tele and my VOX AC15C1X (alnico blue speaker). I also own three other strats (Yngwie Malmsteen, 60th Anniversary Commemorative Strat and an Am Std red).

Whoa, the little OR15 has some stiff competition! Do you like it? I don't gig, but I use one in my basement and I like the tones I get.

Mid 70's Twin that supposedly belonged to Joe Walsh - was in completely non-functioning condition when it came to me, and I had it rewired to Blackface specs:

I like it a lot, it's a great amp and more than holds it's own with the others. Great tone and plenty of volume for live playing and a good master volume for practicing at home. A lot of master volume amps I've had make you guess what it will sound like at gig volume. Not the OR15.

It is snubbed in some circles because it's PCB and made in China but it is one of the better amps I've owned, period. It's the only amp I've owned that I actually liked the way it sounded with JJ preamp tubes. I did eventually swap out a couple, it's now even better in my opinion, but I could have lived with the JJ's. I like to tinker too much to leave anything alone.

Good to hear from someone with top shelf amps to compare it to!

I think the JJs were just fine, but I switched them out for EL84 Mesas (Sovteks, really) and Tung Sols in the pre-amp slots. I think it's a little more open sounding... Hard to say.
