After deep cleaning, repairing jack, new nut and setting up for a flip I played this one for hours today. Not bad for some off brand LP copy. Pickups were actually pretty nice. Corbin Vintage Burst LP Style, no serial, no markings, not a lot online in my brief search.

I don't know why but I do not care for relic strats. But Teles on the other hand, like yours, I love. Maybe it is a beauty and the beast kind of thing.

I totally get it. I sometimes think the 'swoop' of strat contours can be lost a bit when a relic job is too obvious... actual wear tends to follow the lines a bit better. But teles are slabs and somehow seem more likely to be leaned and set down in places you'd never leave your strat!
That particular tele is a monster, though, and I wouldn't care if it was dayglo green with Spongbob decals if it sounded and played the way it does
