It was suggested we start a picture thread. I searched but the last one on this subject must be too old to show up, so here it is again!
Stratocaster Plus', Plus Deluxes, and Ultras - show 'em off!

Mine is a 1991 with the second generation Wilkinson nut and blue - gold - red|red Fender Lace sensors.
    The color is black burst.

Started out as a 91 Strat Plus Deluxe. It now has a Clapton neck and Fralin PUs.

My ‘95 midnight wine Strat Plus. When I bought it in ‘97 it had been left in a car on a hot day and the original aged pearl pick guard was badly warped & I went for the all black pearl look. Great guitar but not #1

There’s two in my house right now. My 1991 on the right and a 1990 that I picked up for a friend on the left. Both started life as Arctic White. This shows the variation of paint and clear coats in the Fender’s of that era.

I bought my 91 new in 1992. Since then I have converted the Wilkinson to an LSR, replaced the block with a Callaham virtual pop-in arm, high mass block to get rid of the arm slop and installed a Dimarzio Chopper in the bridge. I’ve also tried a SD Hot Rails and a Sensor Red.

In storage@ the moment but really like the Ultras. I think I have some pics in my media and will try to get some up.
There was another thread around here
Ultra/ Plus club .. something like that.
1991 one piece top /back Ultra.
1992 set neck crazy quilt top.Custom shop Ultra
    1997 Blue Burst quilt top.
There is an exclusive site for them.
I passed on a CAR 1993 Plus that I saw in a pawn shop..played great except for the back of the neck was chewed up .. owner wouldn't budge on 850 price.

I've always thought that the lace sensors give strats an almost futuristic appearance, very sleek and interesting.

This is my most recent guitar acquisition - a 1999 Deluxe HSS.

When I was 18 (1992) I borrowed $1000 from my step dad and bought a 1987 Strat Plus through the newspaper classified ads locally. I sold it a few years later. Fast forward and today I'm looking for another. I think I'm going to get the transluscent blue finish, maybe an early 90s deluxe version.

When I was a student, the Ultra trans blue was my dream guitar but I could not purchase at that time and bought MIJ. I bought a 62 custom shop model about 10 years ago. However, day by bay, my desire to having ultra trans blue is getting bigger and bigger. It's hard to find here in Tokyo and scare to purchase without playing them.
