Nice amps, you ought to be able to blow out the walls with those! LOL
This is one I get to use on occasions.
I don't know about the walls but ear drums, without a doubt. They can get loud but I keep them at a reasonable level, volumes set at 3 and 4. They are early production amps, 67 and one 68 Blackface circuits. They are like a time machine to me, they take me back to a good time in life.
Garage converted.Approx. 12 x 25. 3 man band. Bass, Electronic drums, Me (guitar)
Some of these rooms are really enviable. I'm spending most of my time in my office/homestudio/practicespace/guestroom (I removed the bed)
My Happy Place...
I'm jealous of some of these setups. I'd kill for a room all to myself and my guitars!
I have my biggest amp in the basement, a Marshall DLS 40CR. It's where I go to play loud. That is an old picture, it's now flanked by an equally large pedal board. I can't handle wires all over the place.
Most of my playing, though, is in my bedroom. That Bugerra V5 is a fantastic bedroom amplifier. It can be switched from 5W to 1W to .1W. I can push it nicely at low volumes, or turn it up enough to hear it down the street. And it was under $200 so the wife doesn't scoff at it every time she walks by.
I'm in the process of building a 5 watt Champ 5f1 that will be going in the living room. The only way that will happen is if it looks "not" like a guitar amplifier. Fortunately I have a friend who is an incredible wood worker. We are designing a mid-century-esque stereo cabinet. The wife is involved as well. I will definitely post pics when it is done. I am really excited about that one.
The Strat is my #1. It's a player, the pedal board is a custom walnut I made. The lower section pulls out if I want to go way minimal on my pedals. The ES-335 was the first decent electric guitar I've had in years. Prior to that I had an Ibanez GIO that never stayed in tune. I bought the Epi for its versatility. It is a fantastic guitar for the price. I think Epiphone is doing a great job with their sub-Gibson stuff. But... I'm a Strat guy. I love the neck and the body fits me nicely.
I am thinking of building a Strat or Tele to match the Champ I'm building. Then I need to convince my wife that a guitar can be art...
that is so nice
Thank you sir! After living in apartments most of my life, it's great to have a space for music. Well, it's my office too I suppose.
where did you get that sonic blue Fender case?
Dig the Topaz!
This is my living room. I’m not sure why there are two images?
It's actually surf green. They have them at GC.
What are you all out of the case guys doing about maintaining proper humidity?
Don't really care about humidity levels.
no guitars in the stands for this photo as I've been keeping them in their cases given high temps and humidity here in San Diego recently...
New england here
Do you like your Marshall Origin?
