Nice looking LPB Strat!
This is all for your personal use at home? Impressive.
A few more guitars stored between the closets & basement that get brought in & out pretty regularly. Another amp in the basement.
And now I'm sharing this little corner with my granddaughter.
It's tight but we make do.
I play where ever I can in my house. I've recorded in my living room, bedroom and garage. I'm working on a space in my basement at present though. It will mainly be a drum room cuz I need to get my drums out of my garage before winter. I like playing my guitar and recording upstairs. It's just nicer with natural light and such.
my humble band room... you can't see it all it's not big, but it works very well for us... boy does it get hot, with 4 guys rocking out in a small room in a house with only a swamp cooler in Tucson. That's our new drummers kit, yesterday was his first rehearsal as a member.
The kit looks cool. And picks up the greens from the tapestry.
I bought a sheet from a thrift shop for a couple dollars and had our bass player paint that FHF tapestry. It's got mushrooms and other cool stuff in it. He also used some glow in the dark paint so when I turn the lights off and pull out our big black light it looks cool
Has anyone painted their guitar body glow in the dark? That would be cool.
edit: I found this, I was thinking just glow in the dark paint:
We just moved in and there's still stuff scattered. The posters will be hung, as well as the guitars. Just getting settled in.
You never do until your guitar is effected by it.
This looks more like epoxy resin?
Yes it is. I was looking for glow in the dark painted, but did not find any.
Very nice! Do you have a pool to jump into after a practice session? I'd be drenched in sweat. I've never been to Tucson but have been to Phoenix several times (step family lives out there). And no way would I want to be in that room with you for more than a few minutes. LOL. But I'm a northern boy. I'd rather play outside in 40-50 degrees. As opposed to 110-120. My body just don't do well. No matter how dry it is. LOL.
nope no pool unfortunately, moved from an apartment with a pool to a duplex so I could have the band room, gotta love the neighbors.. yeah we all get drenched in sweat after a typical 2-3 hour practice. To the point you can ring out the shirt. Thankfully we're about to start getting perfect weather for the next 8 months or so
Elvis Presley, or Unknown Hinson?
And after 50 years, no guitar of mine has been effected by it. Odd, that.
