A friend is visitng from out of town. HE brought a Sigma MArtin woth him He got at a yar sale. I am curious about a number on the inside. It says D R - 7
in black ink next to the logo when you look through the soundhole.

Sorry I cant do a photo. Any idea whatb that number means, and could it be a serial number that tells me what your this guitar was made?

    Thanks

According to Wikipedia, that's the model number. D means Dreadnaught, R means Rosewood and the 7 signifies it's from the top line.

Also according to Wiki, it should have a four or five digit serial number.
