Not out of focus
Medically hazardous for days on end. Depressing . . . and I don't use that word lightly.
The winds gave us a two-day break. Temps dropped 20+ degrees. It was glorious. But now it's as bad as ever. Maybe 1/2 mile visibility.
And yet we pray for the people of Greenville, Chester, Grizzly Flats, Kyburz, Colfax . . .
The Western States need to implement a plan for prevention today
Aside from the smoke, is that where you live? That's awesome.
Nice home !
that's a lovely place Thom.....
you could turn a guitar way up high there.....
with only the wildlife to hear ya.........
Is that coming up from the Caldor fire to the south or down from the Dixie to the north?
Party @ Thom's!
Suspected as much. You're sort of sandwiched in between the two.
Caldor is looking to rival the growth rate of Dixie....700,000 acres in six weeks. (36% contained as of this a.m.
It's up to @100,000 acres in 8 days with 0% containment.
Got some friends on the east side of Placerville in the warning area, but about 2-3 miles from the mandatory evac line. Fire seems to be burning it's way east to Tahoe so they'll likely be spared but it's nerve wracking waiting for the alert.
Friend's cabin burned in Kyburg but so far it looks like they've held the line south of 50, except for 1 or 2 spots where it jumped the highway.
Stay safe...I don't think it's even half way through fire season there yet....
That is a lovely home Thom love it
And boy is Oreo ever cute
Not good. Hard on your health.
Nice digs Thom. Looks dope man but yeah screw the smoke.
Again nice digs and feng-shui!!!!
Driving around town this afternoon. A canyon and a golf course.
That is a great setup you have there.
We have had 4 weeks of thick smoke here in N NV. Its been really bad the last week.
Nice place you have. Good Luck and Stay Safe!
Looks like a peaceful environment, to watch the world go by.
Jeez, that’s scary as hell.
