Air considered hazardous
Looks like a horrible week here ahead.
This air filter was put in two weeks ago.
Smoke, man. It's blown west of us more, now, but these wildfires have been aweful for air quality.
Don't be a tough guy. $h1t'll catch up with you and take years off your life.
You've got to stay alive for at least another ten years to take care of that kitten.
Hell..that looks better than LA on a good day.
Makes Caldor look like a piker, at 218,00 but that's only over about a 26 days. Dixies' been burning for 57 days and looks like it's going platinum...with a bullet.
Funny how you hear more about Caldor now than Dixie. Suppose that has to do with the fact that it's inconveniencing the tech millionaires from SV in SLT?
edit. I was referring to the pics of your home. Just realized the smoke. That's not good.
No way Caldor was gonna get as big as Dixie. The wind is blowing Caldor all north-east, and it was coming up against a much more populated area that gradually becomes high desert, no more forest to fuel it.
No need to be cynical about it. The tech millionaires are more likely to be in north Tahoe, not South. Fact is, the Sacramento-Tahoe-CarsonCity-Reno corridor has a lot of people. The economic devastation of a smaller Caldor fire could have quickly outpaced the larger Dixie fire.
2 Clear days and the winds are up today bringing it in from the south.
