Are you wanting a vintage one or something someone is making? Just under 2,000 seems steep.

A real Silverface one will run you about $1k these days... I bought mine for $300 15 years ago and the one amp I still wish I had, Silverface Champ I bought for $100 23 or so years ago.

Fender wont give them away. Looking at the price of their current handwired offerings. Once the original'$ get there... Milkmans Halfpint is higher
This is it... When the originals are fetching a bit more and another small amp craze, they'll do something. Maybe sooner...

Miss my original in the pro sized cabinet... that was an awesome amp... Sold it to Dave Hunter, he got a bargain, didn't even send me a book.

I was just looking at the prices the early Vibro Champs are selling for... It won't be long.

Let's see, Fender was the last man on the boat on the 5E3 reissue, maybe they won't wait so long on a handwired Vibro Champ... I'd rather pay $2K for a new one than one like the one I sold for $150 that had tweed disease.

I am as well desirous of the Vibro Champ. A bit pricey for me as well, whilst I was looking about I ended up with a floor model Vox AC 10 demo on sale at my local GC just a bit over 400 bucks.I had revisited it many times over the last 2 months and had been chewing on it... I finally swallowed and am quite satisfied with the tone and the character of it without mods. I have the little Vox set at 8 or 9 volume wise and then adjust accordingly depending on what guitar is plugged into it. It's only (10 watt) rock and roll - but I like it. The Strat O Caster digs it as well.

I had an AC10 neat amp but, I prefer single ended 6v6 sound. The new Vibro Champ Reverb delivers that in spades... But, how cool would a new handwired Vibro Champ be? It doesn't even need reverb, Strymon has that covered and if I want tube reverb I want more control than just level...

I agree absolutely. The AC10 satisfied (even more that I figured after I got it situated) my immediate and ongoing hankering for a low watt tube. The want.... not completely since obviously the Fender thing is well...the thing. I did give the Blues Jr.s a chance again but .... At the time I was buying the Vox I was still cyphering out the approximate time when the pricing / availability may be more favorable for the Fender. Although based on the current trend it seems like every week or two the pricing goes up.
Hand wired? I would have to win a drawing....

Oh well I have have been reading some Phillip K Dick and Kurt Vonnegut so I have sort of placed some chance on a time warp, portal, other dimension shift occurring where perhaps........ naw not likely.
