So I bought this pick guard and it’s scratched to beat

    The picture doesn’t capture it all - it’s scratched from top to bottom

    Ordered from stratosphere. Anyone else have this experience??

    Have you tried pealing off the protective plastic sheet stuck to the front of it?

    If you already did, try some car polish on it.

    There can be several layers of protective plastic on them.

    Keep peeling until you get to the gloss.

    I peeled off two layers There aren’t anymore. I really think it’s the grain and low grade material.

    It’s from Stratosphere - not sure if they make them or they buy and sell. But no way I’m putting that on.

    Come to think of it , they did have aged options. Wondering if I was sent the wrong one??

    Novus2 removes the scratches from Plastic and lacquer, but those do not look like scratches, more like waves.

    Does the backside look the same?

    Look at trying some cleaner on it. I'm wondering if there isn't some adhesive residue on there.
