So I was invited to play with some friends whom all play pretty damn well, WELL ABOVE my capabilities on the Guitar that is, as a Bedroom recorder where things don't have to go perfectly every time, and so I quit as Guitarist, but was asked back as Vocalist. Which for me is something I CAN give a hand at.

And so in a way living the dream. Was signed by Magroove 3 months ago for the stuff I did over 7 years ago, and was never really happy with. And now rehearsing every Friday Night for my first ever Gig on November 2nd.

We just doing covers for now until we get the gig out the way then I think we going to write some stuff together.

This is the set list so far.

    Born to be wild. Steppenwolf
    work together. Canned Heat
    shine on. Pink Floyd
    numfortably cum. Pink Floyd
I got the blues. Liba Siffre
Coming in to Los Angeles. Arlo Guthrie
    Fortunate Son. CCR
    Cigarettes and Alcohol. Oasis.
    Us and Them. Pink Floyd.

Hopefully the show will be good enough to share on here for constructive critique from my friends over here.

So as I say living the dream. I just wish I was 19 and not nearly 50. 72085285_10156281979720689_6909385168352444416_n.jpg

Totally happy for you but... What kind of places are you guys playing? Looking through your set list I couldn't help to notice

    numfortably cum. Pink Floyd

Now I'm an avid Pink Floyd fan, but I've never heard that version of Comfortably Numb. :D

Oh yeah LOL that's our bastardized version lol. Well bastardized name for it. But we play it pretty true. Guitarist was formerly from Brit Floyd so he knows his shizzle.

The first gig is a friends 50th Birthday Party at his stately Home he owns out in the Country side. Will be a Marquee and Lights and BBQ and Fireworks and even a big pit fire to hang around and stay warm.

Hopefully once the gig is out of the way we will probably be a Floyd Tribute act and maybe visit a few pubs and hopefully do festivals as we pretty fecking toight with the Floyd stuff to be fair. But the ideal is to write some stuff of our own and record something nice for our grandkids to laugh at. Friend is also building a studio in one of the out houses on the grounds.

Haha oh well in that case I've probably seen him play live a couple of times. Brit Floyd has always had great musicians and stayed true to the true Floyd sound. This should be a great project!

    Keep us updated!

    Wow, that's awesome!!!

I think it was a Brit Floyd guitarist that did a video lesson on Money that I dug into. I don't remember his name, but he played a Shur and is a lefty. The guy was awesome and had all of the Gilmour nuances down quite well. Maybe he's the guy you are playing with?

    Congrats on the gig!!!

Congrats! Glad to see Us and Them in there, usually it only Numb or Wish. We used to cover Corporal Clegg. Pretty sure most people didn't realize it was Floyd. Except that one guy in the back who shouts out "Saucerful!"

That's great man, I had some great times playing music. i wish you all the luck in the world. My best memories are from the days of running up and down the highway with my guitar. I still sit in and play with my nephew in his band sometimes. So I hope you have yourself a large time. Knock em dead.

    Congratulations Tee!

    Is this your first band?

No matter enjoy it, and it doesn't matter whether you're 50 or 19 on the calendar oh, it matters that you're young at heart.

Not a lefty, but was definitely in Brit Floyd. He left Brit Floyd to play for ''Noble Jacks'' and played huge festivals and did full album releases etc. He is a lovely chap and as he has done it all and seen it all. You know living out of a van for weeks. AND doing the big tours, and I think he just fancies some no stress, no frills, get togethers. And above all he loves to play. And as Noble Jacks are currently touring the States and he has family and commitments, he decided to stay behind and play with us which is a real honour.

Guitarist is Anthony who is on left of stage playing through Pine Home built Amp. Which I was playing through only the other night. This is from his Noble Jacks performing at a Festival. He is really one of the nicest chaps I have ever met. SO laid back he is almost horizontal.
