I check ST for topics that interest me. I don't post a lot either. I did finally start to finish off a home project.

The last thing I saw before things went wonky was the Jim Campilongo Changing His Strings video, which got me all peppy (I was pretty peppy anyway Friday night...) to change my own strings, which went well until I put a string into my palm, ouch. Played the all cleaned up guitar till 5 am Saturday morning and then went to bed. Started reading through Tolstoy, cleaned the car out, thought I'd mow but decided eh... Then later the neighbors made a comment about the yard, grassy, weedy, unkempt, etc. So I decided never to mow again... Watched the original Cape Fear... Was going to order new luggage for the October vacation but ended up on the Tele site... Complained about Strat Talk...Checked all the new various Teles available... Thought about ordering a new Vox ac10... Whoop de do...

I played by guitars through my 5E3. Been playing guitar more and surfing the web less.

Cleaned the workbench in my shop! Threw out four small pails of trash, just cleaning it off. :whistling:

i sold a firearm, bought a guitar, hung out on TDPRI...retuned all my guitars because they were all way sharp due to the high humidity we’ve been having. It’s 67% in the house. I noticed a new crack in the lacquer on the face of my beloved 79 strats headstock. Other than that, not much. Dreamed about my dearly departed dog.

I was debating myself, if I should go talk to someone face to face but was able to resist the urge, so I didn't

Started lessons again, and shook the dust off my bass, getting ready for a new season of band practice...

Oh and went back to work. Yuck.

I took apart a cello on Sunday. This thing was a school instrument that was brought to my dad by another teacher he worked with to see if it could be salvaged. This was 35yrs ago...the cello was trash, top and back were separated almost half way, no bridge, no tailpiece and the top was split into five "shards". I kept the pegs/nut and fingerboard (all old ebony) as well as the neck which looks so good that it will become something.

    Committed myself to buying a greenhouse...10' x 12'

Not that big of a deal except it has been standing for 10 years. I have to disassemble it, move it 20 miles, and reassemble it.

Okay so that is a bigger deal, but also I'm working alone, have no truck, and I have a week's worth of ground preparation to do on the new site.

All for the love of orchids!
