His work is clean for sure. Here is one of mine from a few years back that I wired up to 10 different tones with two push pull tone pots.

Wow, that's hot! I need to up my game.! This was mine from the other day ( the splices are solid, but were done before I knew better ). I do like your switching solution! That looks great. I did one with 3 push-pulls and a 7 way years ago, but it made my head hurt to use it. :)

Here is another one I did for a friend. I had to go all overkill on the shielding because of some RF signal issues with a lighting control module. I individually shielded each pickup as well as all the wiring. Plus it looked better with the clear pickguard.

Last night, I pulled the chassis out of the DSL401 and turned the bias up again. When I replaced the volume pot I went pretty conservative on the setting but decided I really like it hotter so I set it back up to .78 volts. I have my old friend back now. Waiting on a different speaker now to give that a try for a different sound.

Right now I’m completely going through a 67 SFDR. Tonight I did the electrolytic, cathode bypass and bias capacitors along with some resistors. Going to change out the 3 prong cord for a longer one, it needs a new strain relief anyway half of it is missing. The last guy that worked on it did a number. I found a wire stuck in the contact on one of the power tubes without any solder. Found some wrong value resistors, not out of spec just wrong ones period. Going to do all the jacks, pots, bias pot, grounds the whole works. I like doing this kind of stuff it’s like meditation medication for me.

Last week I dropped a “Six String Supplies” Strat wiring harness with 250k pots, solderless connectors and treble bleed mod into Sienna, along with SSL2s in the neck and middle and an SSL6 into the bridge.

she needs a new nut though, as the fingerboard is a 9.5” radius and the current nut is 12”. So I’ll swap that out when it arrives this week. Hopefully then she’ll be ready!

I hope so. Replaced all the tubing, cleaned the pots, changed the strings. All the screws are tight now. I just need to adjust the pickup height a bit - I'll do that tonight so I should know for sure if it solved the problem.

I just got done with this guy.
I got tired of the neck volume knob being next to impossible to adjust on the fly in the middle of a song. It is the middle knob and with the position that I hold it im when I play it puts that knob directly under the Wangdooley bar so it's pretty much inaccessible in the middle of a song. So today I disconnected the neck volume pot and rewired it to be a master volume master tone setup with a 3 way switch.

So much nicer to play now.
Then when putting the cover back on I noticed some real players wear starting to form on the baco of the bottom point.

I have had it for 6 years now and it is starting to wear through. It also looks like it won't be much longer before the spot by the bridge p'up will be wearing through too.

Still improving my last LakePlacid partscaster... fighting with pickups&settings... balancing one pickup to another sometimes goes not so smooth...
    DiMarzio DP188- neck
    TexMex single - middle
    Kent Armstrong - bridge
    (Megaswitch)
DP188 seems somehow too thin compared to the pair...
But LOVE the Andoer thick neck...

I got a three barrel bridge just like that exactly for the purpose of trying it on a strat someday. Is that a hardtail body?
