Just perfect , isn’t it?
James Taylor is a genius.
But Linda is a genius at interpretation.
With a nod to Willie Nelson for writing this........but Patsy Cline will pull you in with a voice that is so perfect.
Sentimental fool I am:
Cliff Eberhardt / Havens "The Long Road"
Neil young "A Man Needs a Maid"
CSNY "Country girl"
to name a few
Something about this song makes me want to belt out the chorus at odd moments of the day. Wished I could do it like Tony. Love this song. It has just the right mood for the subject matter.
It has no lyrics, so I don't know of it can be called a "song", but man it does it for me.....
While We Cry
Oh man, I went through a period where I listened to Lurker of Chalice’s self-titled album on loop for weeks. It was like I was under a trance or something. The whole album is an amazing piece of atmospheric black metal art but This song hits a soft spot with the ‘Omen’ movie quotes in it which add an extra creepy vibe to it.
Listen at your own risk \m/
Sadly there's no better quality live version of this song - but the atmosphere of this song especially in the beginning to me is just amazing. Love his guitar playing.
For the past few days, I've had this song in my head.
Just reading the lyrics makes my hair stand on end. A powerful song if there ever was one!
This song grooves, but if I had to pick SD songs I can get lost in, first would be Josie...damn that grooves!! Second would be Haitian Divorce.
This takes me somewhere else every time. Trippy
this one grabs you by the throat
This ones kind of catchy...
