Exactly! Just lacks those aged clay fretboard dots..

This one (custom shop) looks great to me:

This. Mint green pickguards should be used judiciously.

I always wanted white or sonic blue strat with dark rosewood board and pre CBS headstock. In other words early '62 reissue.

That’s OK, though - all the more lovely mint green pickguards for the likes of me!

I'm just kinda meh on mint green and sonic blue, let alone those two colors together. Teal, "seafoam" green, and bold blues don't work for me 99% of the time -- guitars, cars/trucks, walls, etc -- the colors to me are like too cheerful, feminine, pastel-ish, un-subtle.

Mint pickguard on 'burst looks a little better than I thought it would, in pictures at least.

I like both, but I really like mint on sunburst. I don't understand the hate for that combo - I think mint is one of the best colors for sunburst!

That video and also Mick's Strat from That pedal show tipped me over to order the Sonic blue paint last week.
I'm hoping mine turns out like @strattopper one pictured further back. That looks perfect to me.

Not a hater. Pastel colors just don’t click with me. I think Easter eggs.

I put a mint green 3 ply on my two tone EJ Strat and it looks great, to my eyes.

One shade darker than parchment but not mint...on either.

Mint would work well with that. A guitar I'd consider.

And yes, pickguard is parchment, not mint on this ‘62 AVRI FSR.
I put mint on my partscaster on a Lake Placid Blue...

Sonic blue...but no way with mint green pickguard. Parchment with aged knobs and pickups covers would be my choice.

Dislike mint green, but I far prefer both the sonic blue and the original headstock size, so my vote was easy.

I don't put green pickguards on any of my Strat's.
