I was in need of a bass guitar for a while. My good friend luckily hooked me up with a free Squier Precision Bass guitar.

After acquiring the bass, I gave it a cosmetic overhaul.

I kept the black finish, but I replaced the pickguard with a tortoise shell one I got on eBay for a steal. I then installed ash tray covers to give it some sweet 60's mojo. Last but not least, I refinished the neck using some left over starkest amber nitro lacquer and some brush-on polyurethane. I then applied a fender decal. Don't worry, the Squier serial number is still there, I'm not trying to make people think it's a Fender. I just like the look.

    She plays flawlessly.
