I've got a '96 MIM Sunburst Strat that I've heavily modified and loved. Right now I put on an anodized gold pickguard, Fender Vintage noiseless pickups, aged white knobs cause the noiseless only come with aged covers and I had the body routed out and now have the Clapton Mid-Boost in. For Christmas I'm also looking to get some gold Gotoh Vintage Tuners, a gold bridge and the small less important things in gold like the string tree and the strap buttons but I'm also looking at replacing the black fret markers with pearloid ones. I wanna see all of y'alls sunburst Strats and hear how y'all have modified yours.

was the roadhouse the guitar that had the mid-boost stock? or is that called the powerhouse...

    It may be the powerhouse.

The roadhouse has the Texas Special pups. The original cloth wired, yada yada, you know...ones. LOL>

I am mostly a fan of low output singles. I have to say though. The TexSpecs on here kick high back fanny.

I'm a huge fan of Mark Knopfler cause I listened to Dire Straits with my dad all the time and I know that in his signature strat he has the Texas Specials and I was debating about getting them but I figured they may be too much noise with the mid-boost so I went with the Vintage Noiseless like Clapton

Does Cherryburst count? I changed the pups to EMG SAs and the stock tuners to vintage style

2012 American Std. here. Love the Fat 50s, and the 3 tone burst is a beautiful finish.
