I’ll stand by my RB voice analogy as being spot on.
Lazy attempt to sell stuff and stuff.
Maybe urine...not mayan....
I’m on iOS away from my gifs. And stuff.
Even those tears. I, me, mine.
Dang, sounds like I missed a humdinger. Oh well.
Storage wars. I guess it takes a special breed or mentality or lacking of a particular mentality, i.e. be an ass on a consistent basis.
Can't stop laughing
I did leave a 60 dollar guitar in my storage unit for a couple of weeks, in a case. It got ruined. Fret edges poking out. It was during the summer and it was 100 degrees out. Put it in a humicase with several humidifiers. I recharged the humidifiers after about a week and the hygrometer read 560 percent humidity. Almost took care of the fret ends.
I really should be on the forum 24hrs/7days - I seem to miss all the fun.
My FOMO is running high. Sometimes life gets in the way...
I was just thinking the same.
I seem to miss all the juicy bits.
Yeah, love that one. The original text was no doubt "Right" and "Wrong".
Forget where I found it many moons ago.
Didn't really miss much. It wasn't an epic level troll or anything.
Could have been legit, or could have been a cover story for a scammer.
Person got a couple of storage units at auction.
Storage units were full of a mixture of partscasters and random mid-level guitars from the 80s and 90s.
Person "doesn't know anything about them" and wanted the forum to advise on their value, and sell them to forum members.
Person received some confusing/conflicting recommendations as to how to proceed from various members, and started posting a new thread for each guitar... but just pictures with no detailed description or specific request.
Except this person who doesn't know anything about them had a pristine Budda 4x12 cabinet in the background, but there was no mention of amplifiers in the "bounty"
So a lot of things didn't pass the smell test, Admin made contact with the person, and a few hours later, all of the threads were removed from public view.
No meltdowns or implosions.... didn't even need to refill my popcorn
Mine's pretty much been there since the pandemic started.
What’s this got to do with a Stratocaster forum?
There was at least one stratocaster involved in the filming of this commercial.
See this is the bit I missed, it went for a bunch of us helping sorting out what she had to a vote of no confidence really quick...
Not talking about too many threads... but at first I thought "Why so rude?" now it all make sense...
I'm so gullible !!! geez !
I missed the cabinet until someone asked if the Budda was for sale and there was no response.
I'm so used to seeing cabinets in the background that I completely missed it. It's like seeing a car driving by in the background of a front yard shot.
I too saw that Budda cab when I was trying to help her with one of those white Strats, and thought the same thing:
