Back in the 90s, the singer in a band of mine brought over his buddy, the latest and greatest hotshot professional guitar player in town. My place was, as usual, lousy with cool old vintage guitars of every type. That didn’t impress him a bit though. The thing that he raved over quite vociferously was that there was a properly adjusted strap on each and every one! He only had one strap, and had to keep readjusting it every time he changed guitars. He did borrow one guitar to play at his gig that night - a crappy old big red Supro!

I like soft suede straps. Got this one from Amazon and like it a lot.[IMG]

Eldorado makes the coolest leather straps but pricey.

My wife presented me with this strap as a birthday gift some years ago. It was made to my specs by Brookwood Leather. The object at the left is a transmitter pocket which clips onto the strap at the riveted loop. Exquisitely made, but not cheap. I am not affiliated with Brookwood Leather.

A few of my straps. I like them wide and soft leather. Sometimes they match. Sometimes not.

From the picture of a young Stevie Ray Vaughan, it appears that he likes the same strap. It may not be, but it’s close enough.

What Strat is that? I see you did a NGD back in 2018 when you got it but the model wasn't specified. It looks absolutely amazing!

It's a 2006 American Deluxe. It was an absolute case queen. I swear that it had the original Fender bullets on it. A real beauty.

The woven hippies and the black leather with a Dollar concho are custom handmade. All others I bought at stores.

I see a hello kitty guitar in the background. Could you play it at a gig if you wanted?

Sure. I was really saving it for when I audition for that heavy metal band.
