For the record , I did not paint Nanda, I helped paint her apartment.
Well I got some Euros today (1 to 1 against the £ - eek). So I’ll be on the Eurostar tomorrow as Her Majesty’s representative to Euroguestock (we’ve really got to try and get more Brits involved).
Fresh strings on the new .strandberg* (that was interesting, especially doing the intonation with a floating trem) so I’m looking forward to seeing how many songs I can **** up...
The jams, people and the ambiant are special, not 'every day work' or 'daily place to live', if you know what I mean.
Guitar-wise, anyway...Claire's added her name to a few more songs as well. Maurice and Bruno will as usual handle the lion's share of vox and drums.
At least SOME people are willing to make an effort....
Btw a colleague of mine who plays guitar and a little bass might come by.
A little bass like this?
So glad you made it!!
I hope your all had a great time! I hope to be part of the next jam session.
Have a nice weekend
It was a great day, thanks! Lots of fun, good music, some beautiful guitars. And we met some new people, always a bonus.
I hope you make it next time!
A few snaps from the day.

I spot @jpm100 !
It's a wide angle lens. I'm not really that fat am I?
These jams have to stop. You're looking far too happy...
I don't get out much. Does it show?
Oh, let's not even go there. I have already censored a photo of me. Unfortunately, I fear it was realistic.
I've been fighting the urge to give excuses for my voice, which felt weak yesterday...possibly a slight cold, fatigue, lack of proper practice. But I'm trying to cut down on self- criticism...
Ok well then my excuse is it was cold so I have lots of layers on...
How was it?
Us shutins ,
It was great! I got to play a big guitar with only 4 thick strings!
Seriously it was a lot of fun amongst friends as always. And a few new faces with the members of a band @Mansonienne knows, plus a local ST member who came along. We did about 30 odd songs and a couple of jams/mashups; I think “Superstition” was a highlight for me.
Usual relaxed vibe, help and support in a positive atmosphere.
Antwerp in June, maybe I’ll try and get one organised in London for March...
