    LOL!
Probably a good reason for that.

Most of our companies have some form of "Edison" in the name, or simply "Power and Water" or "Gas and Electric" depending on what other utilities they provide.
We also say "Power went out" rather than "electric"... though that could be regional. My grandmother was raised in Kentucky and it was "juice"

    Awww Man!!
    I understand it now!

It's a reference to that Classic ELO tune

    " Telephone Line "

What’s the address, please? I want to look on Google Earth! Also, Google it to see if there’s any reference.

I'm thinking that was more of doing someone a favor than revenge.

Though it may have been intended as revenge :D

All I know is I'd be bringing a ladder, a phillips and a straight slot, and a hammer. That thing wouldn't be hanging on a post for long in MY neighborhood.:thumb:

I'm going to start calling my frying pan "grilled cheese pan" because I often make that in it.
    Canada is quirky.
How do you pronounce the water slide logo thingy on the headstock of your Strat?

LOL. I think every country has its quirks.

For example, why do posted signs for No Trespassing, etc., say "POSTED" on them in the US (East, anyway). It's obviously posted or we wouldn't be looking at it!!

    Yup!
I've actually looked this up...the meaning of POSTED does go a little deeper than "put up a sign"...but not much!
    It's more like "Lookee here!"
I saw one a little while ago that said, "No gunning."
    That was new.
I thought I'd never even heard anything like it before until I thought of the way it's used in Western movies...That feller's gonna be gunnin' for ya, Jebediah.

Ahhhh so the myth is real... Twas once prophesied that only the "true king of guitar" would be able to remove the guitar they call Exstratibur from the pole.

In the British countryside farmers hang crows etc from gateposts and fences to show other critters what befalls those who mess around there, it could mean 'WARNING! NO GUITAR PLAYERS ALLOWED'
