Is that a speaker cabinet from a Fender Ramparte?
I hear ya... kinda.
My last occupational hearing test I was down about 20db above 2500.
Every now and then, I'll find a sound clip that exactly matches the pitch of my tinnitus.
My wife asks "WTF is that?" "That's the sound in my head 24/7!"
I bought her the "Tile" key finder. Works great for her.
I can't hear the friggin' thing unless I'm holding it.
I still have thr amp (great little amp) but I've taken it out of the cabinet for now. The stock speaker is no longer there either, I put a Celestion gold in it instead.
I have a Hot Rod Deluxe IV and just make it into this convo, but have considered trading for a Twin Reverb. I like the clean headroom and would prefer more, as I play the Deluxe at 12:00 when jamming with my family (really the only time I use the amp outside the home). Yes, we play loud... as it should be.
Sentimental reasons and I love his headroom:
I ❤️ Bandmasters.
I bought myself a Fender Super Reverb. Overkill? Yes... but I plan to become a Rock God soon, so I need this...
There is no drummer in that video . . .
That. Is. Awesome.
Fckin A man! Wow
He faked his own death, a la The Dwarves
Fortunately (?) I cant hear above 9K so I may have the same problem but not know about it
