You have it? If so, don't worry.......it's only the flu! You won't die, just feel sick for a few days. It actually is a faster recovery than regular flu. Get well.........

My boys and I had it a while back. They bounced back quicker than I did, but I was only down for a week or so. The muscle soreness was worse than the coughing/fever, in my case.

I know it's no big deal. HAHAHA! My daughter got over it in like 2 days, now she's dancing around the house. I feel good enough to go to work, but since I still have a fever I was sent home. I just think it's funny how panicky people get over this. I have definitely felt worse from regular colds.

well it has killed thousands of people, so it is something to take seriously. flu is a weird thing and it's sometimes hard to predict who it will take to the grave.

That is great.......have to show it to my daughter! She'll wonder why everyone is ganging up on piglet!! Yes, this has become a media pandemic; not to say it can't be serious but far from the death sentence that everyone thought it was a month ago........

    LOL at the picture.

I got the swine flu shot yesterday...I really didn't want too (my mom talked me into it). The people I hang out with have been talking more about side effects of the shot than of the flu itself. Apparently someone who got the shot has lost the ability to walk forward (not sure if this is true though).

My cousin got the swine flu and it put him the hospital for over a month now and he is still there. They had to put him in a medical comma. He has lost 54 pounds and almost died so it can be serious.

moondance that pic is great, I cant believe I didn't think of that!

road_house Im sorry to hear that about your cousin, prayers going up for him and I hope he makes a full recovery.

All that said, I cant really say anything on the flu, I've never had a flu shot or had the flu. **knocks on wood**
