We had steaks & baked potatoes last night, and a salad with romaine, parsley, cucumber and tomato. And my wife and I split a bottle of cheap cabernet. Life is good.

Haven't decided what's on for tonight. It'll either be chili or chicken stir-fry with broccoli, onion and peanuts, that's what we've got the groceries for. They both sound pretty good to me, so I'll let the rest of the family vote on it.

Pot roast that I cooked low in the over for roughly 8 hours. With carrots, onion, celery, and Yukon gold potatoes.

French bread rolls on the side.

I love steak, but since the kidney transplant I'm not allowed to eat anything but well done. And I prefer medium rare to medium.

That was breakfast for me. Snacked on pistachios this afternoon watching basketball. I gave up meat and alcohol for Lent. I've also been trying to do Keto the past week. So that doesn't leave a lot to eat.

    Dutch oven?:sneaky:

I made a six quart pot of my
    15 spice Chile last Wednesday.
Made with London Broil / Angus ground beef, Tomato paste, San Marzano whole tomatoes, Vidalya onions, Goya red kidney and Goya Black beans, and 15 spices for a little complexity.

    Finished it for Sunday Lunch.
