    I have followed this method and found it good. My fingers are a bit on the short, little tubby side, like my legs, and do have some problems with the knots. When I get it right, it looks neat and tidy. I don’t have the courage to cut the length of string at the headstock and prefer to cut the string after the guitar has been tuned and the strings stretched.
