    I’m thinking of ordering a Tele body for a project. USACG is gone. Musikraft doesn’t do bodies anymore (it appears).

    Warmoth, AllParts - anyone else? I just want something light, minimal finish. Suggestions?

    That's really nice... sheesh, I might have to take my own advice someday and buy a body from there, with a custom Warmoth 22 fret neck, rosewood, stainless humongeous jumbo frets..

    Hadn't thought that - good call - go on eBay and buy a s/h Squire Tele. (You do know the neck pocket on a Tele is different to a Strat? Tele is straight and the Strat is curved.)

    If you're looking for an amazingly good body and gorgeous finish of your choice, it's hard to beat Warmoth. Other options here are a lot less expensive.
