Have an old 92 Sunburst that needs a neck change, (Truss Rod won't turn anymore)

Putting on a roasted maple neck.

I have a new Am Pro Tele, so I'm thinking of turning this one into a Nashville tele type, and trying to get the most versatility out of it.

Thinking of a Fender Fat 50's for the middle, and Seymour Duncan Hot Rail for the neck.

Yay or nay, what say anyone? Any other suggestions welcome as well

    Thanks

I can't take credit for that one. Rick Toone makes some VERY unusual and original guitars.

    I have no affiliation.

    RIGHT? LOL

In all seriousness, I can recommend the Fat 50's. They work great for me in every position. In fact, the bridge position Fat 50's is my favorite on my strat. THAT'S how good the fat 50's are.

Fat 50's would be a good choice. I was just thinking a lace sensor or noiseless pup in the middle position would make a Nashville Tele really versatile. Sure it's been done.

I'm working on a Tele build right now. For electronics, I'm going with a 4 way switch and Tone Hatch pickups.

Thanks for reply. Thinking of a 5 way switch and perhaps pull pot to get all 3 pickups, but I might be crazy?

On my Telecamphor (Camphor body tele) I used a 5 way super switch for the normal three positions as well as in series and out of phase.

Thank you. That one was my first time doing that to a tele so I don't mind saying I was a little nervous. I also.took a lot of flak here lically because it was "sacrilege". LOL

Pics please. I love a nice camphor burl especially! And I like the way it smells when cut or sanded.
