Or bad fender American original 60s telecasters are. Please. If you’ve got one, and don’t mind.

I’ve just bought one 2nd hand for what I think was a good price.

It shows up this week and I’m excited, are they really really good or over rated?

I have an AO. But it's a Jag, rather than a Tele.

You should be excited about your Tele. It looks sweet and it's gonna sound sweet.

I think the AO gives you the "greatest hits" version of the guitar, with a blend of top notch hardware in a classically spec'd arrangement. And at a factory price rather than CS.

Now, there are some specs that I like that aren't on the AO. For example, a satin neck. And yes, the truss rod adjustment at the headstock is easier to adjust than it is at the neck. But those are kinda "whatevers" to me given what the AO is altogether.

Ah those AO jags look so good, I actually prefer the heel truss rod adjust visually but they aren’t practical.

I was actually looking for an older American deluxe telecaster and this popped up and i snapped it up.

Pretty much the exact opposite of the American deluxe, but I’m only recently wanting to try modern features. And if I don’t get on with it I should be able to move it on without too much hassle

The AO has a 9.5 inch fretboard radius on what is otherwise a vintage spec Tele.

It should be a great guitar.
