With the flush mount you would only be able to dive, not come up.
Nice body there, if your going FR route it proper. Just my 2cents.
A flush mount floyd will indeed do up or down if you angle the neck properly. The key is to get the floyd up off the deck floating level. Been there, rode the ride, bought the tee shirt.
Like someone said earlier...the original Floyd
I had a strat with an original FR back in the 90's. yes, it was a bummer to set up, but once you get it there it simply is the best, in my opinion and experience, locking system on the face of the planet. you really have to stretch the strings to where they don't stretch anymore though before you can do crazy trem stuff all night. once I had my strings stretched out I had about 3 or 4 hours of non stop dive bombing and pulling up before the strings were dead. I ALWAYS changed strings before every gig and spent the time to stretch them out. and I never busted a string on stage. I want another Floyd one of these days....on a strat, but I wont ruin my present strats to put one on....ill get one that has been put on in the factory.
JT-6 trems ROCK!!!! Love the one on my Charvel Model 3
