I am knew to this page. I have a Fender Strat with the marking I will provide in the following picture if someone can help me out to advise what it means. TIA

Welcome to Strat-Talk @RedWhiteDenim – pictures of the headstock, and Strat body itself (even under the pickguard) might help decipher what that might be.

I've never seen a Fender neck pocket with just "SHW" —and nothing else— stamped in there like that (or "MHS" ).

The body is a re-issue. Unknown what year. The neck and bridge is a ‘65. Two of the pickups are what I believe are called Red Bottom Bonnies.

Welcome! Is it a Made In Japan (MIJ)? The stamp font looks very similar to the old Japanese fonts, but they tended to have more details than just three letters?
