I updated my laptop from Win 7 to Win 10. I barely use it anymore but figured that if i have it then i might as well. It took almost 3 hours just for the update then i still need to tweak a few things. The upside is that it matches my desktop again. I wonder if it ate ate the pics and music i have in there. I asked it nicely to not do that
It just took longer than it would . Just had to re-install Chrome, find the right password for here and now i need to remember how to get into power settings so the screen doesnt shut off every minute
I've #7 laptop But No certain it has enough horse power to handle any ladders taller than that.... Maybe I'll die And The point will be moot
There is that. A bit of search and discover. Things are moved about. I didn't want to upgrade, but had to. Security and functionality.
The other benefit musically is that 10 works better with my interface. I can jam and record direct to the computer. My Audacity (free) program works better.
I already have on my desktop but haven't really had to dig into it much. I found everything though. I did have to let it repopulate the media player. It likes Groove Music player but I'm so used to WMP I didn't feel like messing a new one
I keep toying with getting something to record with but so far that's all I've done. I guess I'd need external mics of some sort as well maybe ?
I just got it today. It didn't ask for a credit card number or anything. Did you go to MS ? I had seen something a couple days ago that you could get a free download so i tried it. So far so good. I wonder if maybe you looked at a pro version or something ?
