Got any photos of you around that time, so we can see if there’s a resemblance?I was eating alone at a Mexican restaurant circa Y2K and a Japanese tourist asked me if I was David Bowie.
The answer was?
(He was very embarrassed)
Yes, at the Starwood. Great show. *edit: Although I don't recall if they were calling it the Big Nine at the time, or just the Sales Brothers. But same kind of groove, soul songs, natty suits, etc. Must have been around 1979.Did you ever go See Hunt and Tony when they had The Big Nine?

It was a ridiculously great show. Used a lot of the James Brown tricks...just awesome. And having a hella good time, no doubt.
I see Hunt around town every now and then. He's an Austin guy. This is his latest song. He played every instrument. Recorded by Manny Nieto. Very dirty, thick sound. But cool.It was a ridiculously great show. Used a lot of the James Brown tricks...just awesome.

This is another from Hunt, from around three years ago.
Hmmm, not sure about pics from that era, pretty fresh off a dope habit but for sure a thin white duke thing was goin on...Got any photos of you around that time, so we can see if there’s a resemblance?
Iggy Pop is the Godfather of Punk. Anything he does has punk attitude. And Punk...in my view...is about the attitude. Otherwise it's just rock-'n'-roll with safety pins.Fezz, I think we must have very different definitions of Punk.
