That looks great and you must be delighted with your work.
Yep, and once you sort that little conundrum out, you have only to worry about what amp your putting it through which IMHO is probably more worrying, it's all in the ears, try em and buy em regardless of what all us numskulls say here
I'm not particularly into such cross-references but it does look badass. Nice photography, too.
That Sienna burst body is gorgeous!!! Where'd you come across it? Being a tele player, you won't here me complain about the neck. On the pickups: I'd play it for a while and experiment with amp settings. As a HB player, you're navigating new waters here and your choice maybe a good transition. Classic strat tones are a whole different galaxy from humbuckers and embody different styles and technique. Enjoy the ride!
The body came from Northwest Guitars.
I was able to pop over to their warehouse and hand-pick from a few. That one just spoke to me.
Amp-wise I’m using POD HD Pro X amp models. Cleans are a fender Bassman but some plexis, Soldanos and a JMP-45 have been modelled too
They never have anything I want to buy in stock...
I was lucky I guess, although they didn't have any necks last time I checked, had to find that elsewhere.
Neck - SSL2
Middle - SSL2RWRP
Bridge - SSL6
I'll start with that and see how I get on
reverse headstock tele neck? So cool nice build!!
Very nice! I would gig that!
They have a lot of what I want, but they're more expensive than AxesRUs, especially for hardware, pickups etc. That's why I've gone for AxesRUs for my next build. Plus Craig at Axes is a really helpful chap!
I'm not very given to variations and modern looks but your guitar is an exception. Looks very cool.
Great looking guitar.
Decided to change the headstock decal.
