I just discovered the awesomeness of this band.
My father liked listening to the Ink Spots, so I got an appreciation for them very early in my life. I hadn't thought about them recently, though, so thanks for the memories. I lost my father in 1998, so listening to this was a pleasure. Thanks for posting it!
They are cool but I remember when I checked them out that many of their songs seemed almost literally the same song w different words.
i think i just find them soothing in the background of my head.
could be the Tylenol III i'm eating for a wretched ear infection I have going on though
Get well buddy
thanks. I haven't been in this much pain since the Septic Bursitis i had in my knee years ago. I had no idea how painful Swimmers Ear could be. I got it in both ears and they feel like they're going to explode.
Ouch hope it gets better, had no idea you were suffering. Best wishes
That could describe a ton of '50s and early '50 Doo Wop as well.
Had an aunt and uncle who listened to them, and so did I, when I was a teen...
I used to listen to them quite often whilst traversing wastelands and defeating mutants.
Wow .. this takes me back . My Dad had an old acoustic and played , if I didn’t care by the Ink spots.
Thank you for your service sir.
Reminds me of Sunday evenings spent with my parents and 2 sisters listening to 78s on the gramophone....I still have some of the records!.
I cannot believe nobody has yet posted their greatest hit...especially with all the coffee discussions we have here.
My neighbor lives in a very nice house from the early 20's.
We sit outside at the pool and she puts these guys on.
Instant time machine.
I love them.
