My Ibanez AS100. She was made in July 1981 and I bought her in October 1981. Somehow we’ve stayed together. She’s had a few sets of pickups over the years but otherwise is pretty intact and is a treat to play.

Probably a Sigma like my 12-string, which was Martin's import line. Very nice guitars!

1990 Strat Plus Deluxe bought it off the rack at Guitar Center in Overland Park, KS from the original location on 87th Street. At the time I did not know Guitar Center was a chain. I still have the original loaded pick guard with #662 Lace Sensors.

78 Strat Hardtail - I've had older ones but they were either traded, stolen or sold.

It has been through a few different pickup changes. I am currently putting her back to stock. Original paint and frets. She needs a fret job though. I have no idea where the original pickups went to. Last year I took her out of the closet and wound a set for her til I can get an original set. Repro pickguard. I have the original but it shrunk and the screw holes are mainly cracked unfortunately. Hope you like it.

A shot from about 4, maybe 5 years ago of me playing my strat.

I bought it new in '99. I believe it's a 2000 model. It's an American Standard with a floating trem. I've installed locking tuners and replaced the jack...otherwise it's original.

That was my only guitar up until 2014.

I bought this Hohner HW640 for $10 brand new at the last GC "Midnight Madness" sale my local one had back in 2005 I believe. At one point I had a humbucker and a Strat output installed.

Bought it from my girlfriends brother in 1975. He did not want to sell it but he had just got pulled over for driving on a suspended license. I threw a C-note at him and he let Lester go. I did not feel bad about it because he never played it. IMG_8283.jpg

Bought a '60 330 in '73. Doesn't get played too much any more, unfortunately. Great guitar though.
Bought a '60 strat in '76. That one gets played a lot.
    I don't buy/sell too often.

I bought one very much the same in 77 or so for $100. Couldn't get it to stay in tune (G string mostly) and being a novice, I had no idea how to fix it. I sold it for the same price within a month and bought an LP Deluxe Goldtop for 500. No regrets.
