I wish them well. Make a few bucks - why not?

Better than sitting their butts. Fans will dig it.

Perhaps it'd better to say "Micky and Mike Sing The Monkeys"? Kind of like Nick Mason does with old Floyd.

Micky was originally cast to be vocals, Davy on drums. Word was that Davy being vertically challenged, "disappeared" behind the drum kit.

Pleasant Valley Sunday was Micky at the mic. Last Train to Clarksville? Micky again.

I don't know how you can call half the original group "The Monkees". But, WTH, luck to them.

The Who has been doing it for years.... but I had thought Nesmith had passed away so my first thought was "Hey, Hey, I'm the Monkee..." but apparently reports of his death were premature.

@StratoMutt - no reason..get it while you can. It's a pretty heavy tour schedule but maybe that's cause social distancing has cut capacity? Kinda puzzled why Mike would need to though. He wa already set with the Liquid Paper (or was it White Out) fortune from his mom.

Nah, I'm good. Best to leave some memories as was. I've got a Monkees live vid along with "Head" stashed away in digital format. Not entirely sure I've watched either. : /

I do love the show, mostly from syndication. Funny, well done bits imwo.

White out / liquid paper = same thing really. Those white tape cartridges in a roll work so much better now.

Same idea, different products. Nesmith's mom had the patent on one, I just can't remember which.

No thanks. If I did not see them in 1974 (with Pete) or earlier, I no longer want to.

Took me a few years after '74 to discover them at their peak. I was not quite ready for them in '74.

Both used Freon as a solvent iirc. The ozone killer of its day.

    Grace using some:

Yeah, see, IMO, The Who hasn't been "The Who" since Roger Daltrey's voice went. They were lucky to survive the passing of Keith Moon.

imwo, they should have hung it up when Keith left us. He did well on Who Are You even though he was fading.

Or at the very least found a more suitable drummer than Kenny Jones. Bad choice. Kenny and Roger were buds at some point. Finding another Keith may have been nigh impossible.

This album cover is haunting (I do not believe in ghosts).

    Ghost peppers? Yes!
