Nice work @StratMike10, @chrimturn and @Michael919. There's a lot of criticism of Page's "sloppy" electric guitar playing but most agree acoustically he was brilliant with his use of open tunings. Bron-Yr-Aur has long been on my wish list and I'm inspired to try this again despite my woeful fingerpicking skills.

I'll see if this works. I've been doing a bit of a daily challenge where I post a short bit of playing to Instagram every day (only been going a couple of weeks). I just recent did Ten Years Gone, but also recorded a bit of Tangerine just last night that I will post today or tomorrow.

Ok, I have no idea how to imbed an IG post here. If anyone can point me to how to do it correctly, that would be great.

Rain Song is way harder to play. I just like the rough edges around Rock and Roll.

I finally had a bit of time this morning to record. Pretty much my entire first floor is demolished for a reno taking place so I'm literally like a mouse dislodged from its home! Welcome to my wife's closet. :D

I thought about doing this as a composite single guitar but thought it better to do as 2 guitars as I think it sounds fuller and I wanted to learn both parts.

One of the coolest LZ songs which don't get much listen... I always loved the open chord work on this one, great work covering with two guitars Mouse, especially on the exotic chorus parts starting at 1:00 and 3:00, showcasing some of the unconventional guitar work of Jimmy Page. Probably not one where you can say that you pulled tricks out of your bag to put it together, you probably had to learn a few things from scratch here.
    Well done Mouse.

Love all things Zep. Thanks for the clinic. Ive always wondered how that was done.

    Great job.

So, the split screen thing, you need special software for doing a video like that?

    Thanks guys!

@StratMike10 - yeah this tune doesn't get as much love but like Sven I love pretty much everything they've done. I wanted to try something a bit off the beaten path. This is actually in standard tuning but with a lot of open B and E strings ringing out. The diads at around 3:00 are a bit of a finger twister for me. Switching between 5/8 and 6/8 timings took a bit of getting used to but if you follow Bonzo's bongos, it becomes more intuitive. Now remembering all those repeating licks...well I had a bit of help until I finally committed to memory :D

@amstratnut - I use a free video software called VSDC. The split screen thing is pretty easy. I record each guitar part while I'm videoing myself. After I mix the guitar parts together in my DAW and produce an output file, I import the final audio file and the 2 video files into VSDC. I get the videos to align to the audio, add a fade in/out and I'm done. I'm actually pretty primitive with how I use these tools.

Nice @AncientAx. There are no sloppy Led Zeppelin covers. That's called playing it properly. :D
