    Normal cycles and transformations in large metro areas. What was a prosperous suburb turns less prosperous and more urban over time and many flee for newer burbs....

    My own modest neighborhood is getting much more affluent, which protects me to a certain degree but it's hard to predict precisely what will happen in an area over time.

    But also, back to the main kinda sorta topic: From my perspective, most of the music and musician activity is to the Fort Worth side of the metro area. There are very few places toward the Dallas side where one might play punk, with the exception of a few downtown, while the cities in between and Fort Worth itself seem to have lots going on.

    That's the name of the airport near the strip joints... I don't think it has anything to do with the emotional state that shares its name.

    But it's Texas. Anything is possible.
